Why become Multilingual? - Multilingualism part three

Being multilingual has many benefits in both the brain’s structure and in communication. Multilingual people have been shown to have better school performance, stronger logic/problem solving skills and a higher self esteem when going through life. They usually are more creative with their words and communication comes more naturally. Being multilingual also helps with cognitive decline that happens due to old age. If someone learns two or more languages, especially when they’re a child, it’s easier for them to learn and remember another language, no matter their age. When someone is multilingual, they have more freedom to explore the world and be independent. This is especially valuable in the connected world of today. One language even helps improve another, because multilinguals start to see connections between the languages, which help them grow their languages. Some people don’t just become multilingual because they want to, however. People become multilingual because they have moved to a country that speaks predominantly another language than their own. People also become multilingual because they grew up in a multilingual community. There are also many more personal reasons to become multilingual.

¿Porque convertirse a un multilingüe?

Ser multilingüe tiene múltiple beneficios en las estructura del cerebro y en comunicación. Personas que son multilingüe han demostrado de tener mejor rendimiento en escuela, son más poderoso en sus habilidades de resolver los problemas de lógica, y tienen un major amor propio cuando ir por su vida. Ellos por lo general son más creativo con sus palabras y comunicación viene más naturalmente. Ser multilingüe también ayuda con deterioro cognitivo que pasa con edad avanzada. Si alguien aprendes dos o más idiomas, especialmente cuando son un niño, es más fácil para ese persona aprender y recordar otro idioma, no se importa su edad. Cuando alguien es multilingüe, ellos tienen el libertad para explorar el mundo y ser independiente. Ese es valioso en el mundo conectado de hoy. Un idioma también ayudas mejorar otro idioma, porque los multilingües ven conecciones en los idiomas. Algunas personas no convertirse a un multilingüe porque quieren. Personas convertirse a un multilingüe porque se mudado a otro país que habla predominantemente otro idioma que no es su propio. Personas también convertirse a un multilingüe porque se creció en un comunidad multilingüe. También son demasiados razones personales para convertir a un multilingüe.
